RE: Technical Question - Pool Music - Is this possible? (Follow-Up #2)

Hawkfive,

The answer to this is yes. The frogs look like they come in wireless or wired.

If you have the wired version. You will need an amplified USB subwoofer or amplifier capable of driving your speakers at 8omhs (they appear to be 8ohm speakers). Connect the netbook to this subwoofer and run the L&R satellite wires to your frogs. I installed some outdoor Paramount speakers 13 years ago and paid high dollar for the pvc wrapped wire. Don't waste your money just get low voltage lighting wire. Its less expensive, doesn't deteriorate, and you can get it in large enough copper gauge to where it competes with Monster Cable.

You could also use a USB sound card and drive the amplifier system through that. You will find that this direction will give you good control and the USB port is more durable than the mini-stereo.

If you have the wireless version. I believe you can simply connect it to the 2.5mm headphone jack on the netbook.
