base cabinets for island
posted by: softfurn on 08.29.2008 at 08:36 pm in Kitchens Forum I am planning on an island approx 24 x 72 made from base cabinets. I would like it to house a farm sink and a DW. If I can get a few more inches of depth from my floor plan, is there a way to make this 28"deep from semi custom cabinets? Also, if I can only have a 24" deep base, will it look strange having the faucet all the way back near the edge of the countertop? Thanks
NOTES: good if I want to increase the counter depths. good info.

Subscribing to threads/ topics

Is there a way to subscribe to certain threads or discussions that I am interested in? I know that if I start a discussion myself that any responses to follow will be emailed to me. But what if I did not start the conversation but I did want to keep track of it. Is there a way for me to be notified of new replies. Case in point, I have answered a question or two on here but I don't know (can't remember) the particular thread title to check back in and see how the conversation is progressing. Help me if you can. NOTES: <none>
