Soap Dispenser? Do they all break?

After reading the other thread about which kind of soap to put in the under the counter soap dispenser, I'm now worried about drilling a hole in my soon to get here Granite countertop. I have a brand spanking new Kohler soap dispenser sitting here waiting. Do I have the hole drilled or not? Help. Please. ML NOTES: <none>
