Before pics: we moved the kitchen into the family room, the dining room into the kitchen, and the breakfast area into the dining room. I was previously opposed to knocking out both walls, but I am glad we did. For the way we live, it works much better. Entertaining is a cinch now. Because the kitchen is vaulted but the other ceilings are low, it doesn't feel like a huge empty space (that's what I was worried about). And I liked my "other" house, just not the kitchen. It was awful.

I am looking for something that is more modern with a nod to traditional. I like the T-bar look that is so popular right now, but I'm afraid it will be too trendy.

I think I want a brushed nickel/stainless type look. All pulls...no knobs.

I found these from Emtek. http://www.simpsonshardware.com/Emtek_Orbit_Drawer_Pull_p/emt-86260.htm They seem really simple. Are they too simple?

I really liked these from TopKknobs but the largest they come is the 6 1/4" size. http://top-knobs.knobs4less.com/top-knobs-handle-brushed-satin-nickel-8.html The Emteck ones have a 10" size. I have a 36" drawer base, 24" panelend dishwasher etc. that I would like to have only 1 pull per drawer and I thought the 10" size would be better than the 6 1/4" size.

Cabinets are warm white wide stile & rail shaker style. Any suggestions on how to pick the right size pull for each drawer/door?

What do you think? Any other recommendations?
