RE: Okay, so how about deep brown/black espresso cabinet color? (Follow-Up #66)

All thank you so much for the information. I have finally completed my kitchen and am truly happy with the results. The Benjamin More Satin Impervo bittersweet chocolate paint worked flawless on the Oak Cabinets. I saved thousands by refurbishing the cabinets.

We used Olive Branch throughout our home. I find that it changes somewhat depending on the time of day and how much light comes into a room. Even with the changes Olive Branch never disappoints me.

Here's a few shots of Olive Branch. It is dark but I really like it. I get tons of compliments on this paint color and I think it looks nicer IRL.

If you search for Olive Branch or Monablair you should find more pics. Mona painted quite a few rooms in her house this color and it looks stunning.

I sampled Camouflage and it looked terrible in my house too. I think you're on the right track!

Here is Svelte Sage. :) Used this one in our office. I meant to suggest it but forgot! It's just one step down from Connected Gray on the chart, right? Very nice color.

I just googled these colors to see what they looked like, but it's always hard to tell from a picture on the internet.

Here are some I would *think* might be in the family you are looking for. My advice would be to paint a big sample in your actual room, though, because paint colors change dramatically from one room to the next depending on lighting conditions and trim, etc.

Here is SW Clary Sage:

It is a nice soft celery color. Maybe not as olive as you are going for, though.

Another nice green that I love is SW Connected Gray. It looks incredibly dark on the paint swatch but on a wall with plenty of light it's a great color, IMO.
