Marie's recipe not the same as ours:

1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 and 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Mix butter and 1/2 of sugar with mixer until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and flour and hand mix. Cover for about one hour. Form small balls. Bake at 350 degrees F about 15 minutes. Let stand for 2-3 minutes. Roll in remaining powdered sugar. Cool. roll again in sugar.

What are your favorite colors in the stained glass? On my monitor it looks like there's some blue, some green, some orange. Your tile looks neutral enough that you have quite a few options for paint colors. It will be a matter of selecting something that goes with the darker wood, the window and your favorite colors.

It looks like there's enough space between the tall wood cabinet and the left side of the tub to put a chair or bench. You could introduce some fabric with a chair.

To balance the size of the stained glass, maybe you could put a square mirror on the other wall of the tub at the same height in a painted frame and paint the "frame" around the stained glass to match. Or, mount another towel bar there and hang some towels to provide softness and height to that wall. Or, put some decorative shelves with bathtub things like sponges, bubble baths, etc.

I think you have a lot to work with.
