Davewg, here's some corner oven pictures for you

I'm not sure if you're game for unsolicited comments, but here it goes anyway.

I read that you're considering moving your ovens into a corner between your cooking wall and your wall of windows. This is the setup that we have, so I thought I'd share some pictures, even though we're still not done. It was hard to find pictures of corner ovens when I was planning, so perhaps you might find this useful. Our layout is linked below in case you need to get your bearings.

There are two ways to put an oven cabinet in a corner. The first way is to set it so that the front of the oven is even with the diagonal between the two runs of cabinets. This is the most common way. Example:

Flush corner ovens

The second way is to set the oven cabinet in the corner as far back as it goes. This way the ovens are inset into the corner. This is what we did. The advantage is that the ovens protrude less into the room (less blocking of your lake view), and when open, you have more aisle space and easier access to the landing space on either side. This setup is less common. If we had not seen a display with this placement we would not have known about it, which would have been a shame b/c we are SO, SO glad we did it this way. Here's some pictures of our inset corner oven cabinet:

And here it is with the door open. If the oven cabinet was set flush, the open oven door would stick out an additional 12" into the aisle.

Your KD may have already given you both of these options, but I wanted to throw them out there just in case. I know you put a big effort into your layout and that it really matters how things will work when it's all done.
