Another Finished White Kitchen...But I have morgue drawers

Here are the afters: Layout didn't change much at all. I love my bigger window and the fact that the soffits are gone! And the morgue drawers (thanks to fori):
Closer view of the dreaded backsplash. (A nice, cheery grey. lol.) The lighting isn't very good to the right of the stove. The backsplash really matches all the grey in the granite.

Banquette anyone?
posted by: coleen3201118 on 05.07.2007 at 05:48 pm in Kitchens Forum DH and I are discussing seating for our kitchen. He likes the kitchen table and chairs whereas I think a banquette is the way to go - I'm not opposed to keeping a round table, but I like the seating better (for at least 2 walls). After all, when we go out to eat I always go for the "booth" type of seat. Does anybody have a banquette or an opinion on one and is there any reason I may come to regret pushing this? Thanks!
