Left bulbs out in the rain what should I do?

posted by: junebugapril on 10.31.2013 at 11:56 am in Container Gardening Forum

I left my leftover bulbs out on my balcony. It rained last night, should I bring them into the house and dry them out, or should I hang them in cloth bags in the garage to dry out?

I don't really have enough containers to plant them. I also don't have anywhere outdoors to plant them.

Yikes, what should I do?

That's fabulous! I love it. So how did you force them for the wedding? Did you just pot them up and bring them in after six weeks or so?

I have a problem now!!!

I left a lot of bulbs out on the balcony and it rained last night, they all got wet.

I have already potted up a lot of my bulbs, but what should I do with the wet ones? Hang them in the garage to dry???

Bulb question

How late I can plant tulips and daffodils in my fairly cold garage in window boxes? I'm in Chicago. I want to put the window boxes out side on my balcony in spring.

Ideally I would plant the bulbs when the bulb companies have their big clearance sales. I've never bought bulbs online before. Do you know when the sales start or which companies are good to buy from?

Thanks!
