RE: What do you really want to do in your life? (Follow-Up #22)

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
The remarkable thing is - we have a choice every day of our lives regarding the attitude we embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.
I’m convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you.
We have choices within our attitudes. -Charles Swindoll

First, congrats on your first home purchase!
Here are instructions for using photobucket (it's free). Once you have your photos stored online somewhere, then you can share them here ;)
Go to www.photobucket.com
Sign up for a free account
Upload the photos from your computer into photobucket, here's a step by step tutorial with screen shots.
Once you get your photos into photobucket, you can share here using several methods. Easiest is either post the link to your album ~or~ you can copy and paste the "HTML tag" line located below the photo into a post here. Here's a step by step guide that shows you where the HTML tag is (see item 3 in screen shots). That method will insert the photo directly into your post so we see the picture rather than a link to it.

Here is Garden Web's Test Forum, where you can play around with it till you get the hang of it ;)

RE: 'Tin Ceiling' effect in bathroom (Follow-Up #16)

On the subject of styrofoam ceiling tiles: I saw them at the home show and chuckled. However, I did sign up for a demo of one of their other products--crown molding/moulding. The guy came out to give me an estimate and I rejected it as way too expensive for me.

He then showed me the ceiling tiles. I didn't have the heart to tell him "no way". He said that he was installing them in a multi-million $ home down the street and asked if I wanted to see the product installed. I said a resounding "yes" only because I was dying to tour that house. I was blown away with what I saw and hired him to do my "low end" foyer. I don't tell anyone (so keep my secret) that it is Styrofoam.
