Electrolux 36' Gas Cooktop-Thoughts?
posted by: farmersdaughter_sf on 12.17.2009 at 04:59 pm in Appliances Forum I am shopping for a 36" gas drop in cooktop (not a range top). I was going to go with the DCS (CTD-365-N) because I have a DCS Range right now. However, when I went to look at it in person I noticed the grates have a notch in them to hold them all together which makes it near impossible to remove a grate with one hand for quick cleaning. I have a sneaking suspicion that this will drive me crazy. So I am considering the Electrolux 36" gas cooktop (EW36GC55GS) as an alternative. Does anyone have the Electrolux and can give me feedback? I love the DCS high/low simmer feature and sealed burners that clean up easily, so am especially interested in those topics, but any feedback would be helpful. Many thanks!
