What is standard wainscotting height photos please

All of you who have the wainscotting in you bathrooms, how far is it from the floor? Is there a standard height? We have hot water heat and the register is around the floor, do you measure for this. Anyone have photos of this with a heat register. Photos please Thank you

white trim--help!

I posted this on the Paint forum but was advised to re-post here:

I have just about settled on BM Grey Owl 2137-60 (next choice: Harbor Grey AC-25, lightened to 75%) for my walls and now need a trim color for beadboard, kitchen cabinets, and moldings. (Ground floor is one large kitchen/living/dining area)
Trim is now Atrium White and while this matches well with the blue-and-white tile in the kitchen area, it is not as crisp a white as I would like..

The house gets lots of western light. I am totally stumped!

Please give your opinion on which whites might look good with Grey Owl.

Also, has anyone used White Heron? I saw this in a magazine (HB) and it looked really pretty.

We did a "flagstone" stamp with stain. When they sealed it, they spread a small amount of sand which got sealed in as well. NO ONE will slip on this.

How do you feel about cabs in kitchen - 2 colors?

I just can't let it go.....I am dying to do something else in this kitchen!! Not that I even have the time but I just keep thinking it could be so much BETTER with a few tweaks & additions.

Glazed cream on top run of cabs with keeping the wood tone on the bottom?
Keep the oven & refrig tower in the wood tones?
Too trendy?

Backsplash still needs to be addressed, too - many of you know there was a mistake with the checkered board.

I just can't help it......I can't get it out of my head - althou, it is fine - I think this house needs a more dramatic kitchen.

I love the look of this one by Aktillery....

And I am sorry to post this again.....but my kitchen.

Here is a drawing I did to show some tweaks on the upper cabs on the sink wall.

Okay, you can tell me to shut up if you want to - my DH wants to tell me:) :) This kitchen just doesn't sit quite right with me.
